2026 Spring Open House

Check-in will begin at 9:00AM

Spring Open House is perfect for students who want to learn what it takes to become a part of the rich legacy and tradition of South Carolina State University.

Open House provides you and your family the opportunity to talk with current SC State students, faculty, and staff. In addition:

• The University’s student ambassadors will lead you on tours of our beautiful campus.
• Our admission staff will be on hand to answer your questions, guide you through the application process.
• College Fair with each college/school on campus so that you may talk 1:1 with faculty about your major
• Battle of the Bands 
• Marching 101 Performance
• SC State Cheerleaders Performance
• Spring Football Game

The event begins in Smith Hammond Middleton Memorial Center at 9 a.m.

Following the college fair, all guests are invited to stay for the spring football game (tickets will be provided the day of the event for all those who attend.)
